Depending on requirements we are also happy to carry out research work, including market analysis, clarification of provenance, appraisal, clarification of authenticity, etc. Our evaluations are made in accordance with the principles of scientific methodology and based on our many years of experience of the art market.
Discretion is a matter of course. Wherever possible, please send us by post or e-mail the information and documentation as follows:
- a good quality photograph of the object you wish to have appraised
- information about the artist
- the title of the object
- signature and designation
- material, technique, size/weight
- condition
- certificates
- the provenance
Our experts will then contact you. If required, we are happy to visit you anywhere in Switzerland or abroad; in the course of a personal discussion we will advise you on the best way to market your object.
If you choose to place your object with us for one of our auctions, we will recommend a catalogue estimate and agree a reserve price for your item with you.
